KID Device (children's AI-companion device): New Overstock truckload, manifested, ships from California. Manifest summary: Product concentration Single Product Diversified Single product Moxie AI companion robots. Moxie is a 15-inch social robot for children, with a screen face and moving arms, built to practise conversation and social-emotional skills. It was originally made by Embodied, Inc. **Worth knowing** Moxie depends on a server to talk. Embodied shut down in late 2024; Moxie Robots, Inc. took over the rights, relaunched it as a paid subscription service, then announced its servers would close at the end of June 2026. The route left is OpenMoxie, a free open-source server the owner runs on their own computer, which needs an OpenAI API key. Moxie Robots states the robots are no longer sold, that each needs its original charger and power adapter to work, and that the battery isn't replaceable. Ships from California.
